Terms of Service — ASR+LLM Playground

These Terms govern your use of the ASR+LLM Playground (the “Playground”), a speech and language demonstration provided by Myrtle Software Limited (“Myrtle”, “we”, “us”). By using the Playground, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

These Terms sit alongside our main Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply to your use of the Playground.

1. What the Playground is

The Playground lets you speak or type to an AI system and receive a generated text response on screen. It’s provided for evaluation and demonstration purposes only — it isn’t a finished product, and it isn’t intended for production, personal, or confidential use.

2. Age restriction

The Playground is intended for users aged 18 or over.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use the Playground to:

• break the law, or help anyone else break it
• submit or generate illegal, abusive, hateful, or harassing content
• try to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the Playground or its underlying systems
• submit anyone else’s personal data, or any confidential, sensitive, or regulated information
• submit authentication credentials, API keys, secrets, or tokens

We may suspend or block access, without notice, where we reasonably believe these Terms are being breached or the Playground is being misused.

4. No guarantee of accuracy

Responses are generated automatically by AI models. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading. We don’t guarantee that anything the Playground says is correct, and you shouldn’t treat it as fact without checking independently.

5. Not professional advice

Nothing the Playground says is legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Don’t rely on it for decisions where that kind of advice is what you actually need — speak to a qualified professional instead.

6. Ownership of what you put in and what you get out

• Your input stays yours. You keep ownership of the audio and text you submit. We don’t claim ownership of it.
• You grant us a licence to process it. By submitting audio or text, you give us permission to process, store, and use it solely to provide, secure, and improve the Playground, in line with our Privacy Policy.
• Responses are provided for your use. You may use the AI’s output for your own purposes, but because it’s AI-generated, we make no promises that it’s original, accurate, or free from third-party rights, and we don’t guarantee you have any exclusive rights to it.

7. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Playground running, but it’s a demo — we don’t guarantee it will always be available, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw it at any time without notice.

8. Liability

The Playground is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the extent permitted by law, Myrtle isn’t liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Playground. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that can’t lawfully be excluded or limited (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law says otherwise (for example, if you’re a consumer based elsewhere with local legal protections).
